Experience and Credentials
Jan is licensed by the Oregon State Bar to practice throughout the state and admitted to state and federal courts. She grew up in Michigan, obtained her bachelor's degree in Engineering at Univ. of Michigan and her law degree (magna cum laude) at Wayne State. She has worked in public interest environmental law and nonprofit management since moving to Oregon in 1996, and has successfully argued before LUBA and the Oregon Court of Appeals on numerous cases. She enjoys working with neighbors and also with other nonprofit lawyers working on related matters.
